13 May MetPlas Celebrates Apprentices on the Path to Journeyman Certification during National Apprenticeship Week
MetPlas, Inc. recently recognized five of its apprentices for their dedication and progress as they work toward earning their machinist journeyman certifications.
The apprenticeship program at MetPlas is designed to provide hands-on training, technical skill development, and real-world experience in precision manufacturing. Achieving journeyman status requires a significant commitment, combining structured learning with practical application on the shop floor.
Our supervisory team plays a key role in guiding and mentoring these individuals as they advance through the program. Their leadership, along with the support of the entire MetPlas team, helps ensure each apprentice is equipped for long-term success in the trade.
To celebrate their hard work, MetPlas hosted a team lunch featuring Hot Ash Wood Fired food truck, bringing employees together in recognition of the apprentices’ efforts and the company’s broader commitment to workforce development.
MetPlas remains committed to supporting career growth, strengthening the skilled trades, and recognizing the contributions of every employee.
