A Busy 2023 Holiday Season For Business and Philanthropy

MetPlas was once again able to make impactful contributions to several worthy charities this year.  These contributions would not be possible without our loyal customer base that provided us another fantastic year with record-setting results.  Our giving is also made possible by our dedicated, compassionate employees that were excited to contribute to kids, families and organizations in need.  Some of the charities we partnered with this year included:

Stockings for Soldiers: Stockings For Soldiers – This year marks the 20th consecutive year of the community effort to send personalized Holiday greetings to our brave young men and women in uniform serving their country halfway around the world. The wonderful team leaders and great volunteers have sent over 143,000 personalized stockings filled with goodies and good cheer.

Toys for Tots: Home – Toys for Tots – The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas. Marine Toys for Tots goal is, through the gift of a new toy, help bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children.

Tunnel to Towers: Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org) – Since 9/11, T2T has been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children by building specially adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. They are also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.

Orphans of the storm: Home | orphansofthestorm (orphansofthestorm-pa.org) – Orphans of the Storm is a non-profit, 501c3, located in Armstrong County established in 1969 to provide temporary shelter for unwanted and abused animals. They match lovable animals with loving forever homes, educate the public on humane, responsible care of all animals, and promote spaying and neutering to reduce companion animal overpopulation. Orphans of the Storm is a no-kill animal shelter.

MetPlas has also “adopted” families over the past few years. This year we helped two loving families have a special Christmas through generous contributions from our employees.

We look forward to continuing the tradition of giving for years to come!
