MetPlas Representatives Attend NTMA “Thomas on Tap” Event at the Moonshot Museum

Representatives from MetPlas, Inc. recently attended the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA) Thomas on Tap event, held at the Moonshot Museum and Astrobotic Technology headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

“Visiting the Moonshot Museum was an inspiring experience—seeing the future of space exploration being shaped right here in our backyard was truly exciting. I was especially glad to learn that Astrobotic makes a strong effort to partner with local manufacturers for their projects”, said  Vice President of Finance Rebecca Dalton.

The evening brought together manufacturers, innovators, and industry leaders to explore the future of advanced manufacturing, automation, and space technology. Guests heard from Astrobotic Technology about their groundbreaking work in lunar robotics and how Pennsylvania manufacturers are contributing to missions that will soon travel to the Moon.

The event also featured an insightful chat sponsored by Thomasnet, focused on growth, marketing, and emerging opportunities in industrial manufacturing.

MetPlas is proud to be part of a forward-thinking manufacturing community that continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible through innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
