Manufacturing Day 2025: Inspiring the Next Generation at MetPlas, Inc.

On October 6, 2025, MetPlas, Inc. proudly celebrated National Manufacturing Day by welcoming students from Lenape Vo-Technical School, Highlands High School, and Freeport Area High School to our Natrona Heights facility.



The event gave students a firsthand look at the world of precision machining and advanced manufacturing. Attendees toured various departments throughout our plant, learned about modern production processes, and engaged in hands-on demonstrations with our skilled team members. Students also met with our Human Resources department to learn about potential career paths, apprenticeship programs, and job opportunities in the manufacturing industry.



Between sessions, everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch from Chick-fil-A and a sweet treat from the Sundae Drive ice cream truck—a well-deserved break after a morning of learning and exploration.
